Which is why, surprise surprise, Liverpool are keen to sign him as soon as he become available.
He may have scored just two goals in the league this season but there is a reason why Leverkusen have handed him 24 matches this campaign - his overall play is absolutely brilliant.
Brandt is excellent with the ball at his feet, can pick out a pass - creating 37 chances this campaign - and is the sort of dynamic attacking player that any manager would love.
