That ignored the contributions of Wylan Cyprien, who has been a creative and goalscoring force from central midfield, bagging eight goals and providing five assists for a side that are still massively outperforming expectations.

Unfortunately for him and Nice, Cyprien was ruled out for the rest of the season two weeks ago after suffering a cruciate ligament problem.
