Adnan Saffie

Team: Durham FC (loan Undisclosed)

Position: Forward

Age: 21

Playing at the International Friends Tournament, he turned heads as Canada won the tournament in a thrilling 5-4 where he shone and introduced himself to the world. He also came second in the "The Best Young Player Award"scoring 5 goals and assisting 2 and is gathering a large buzz around him.

Able to play across the forward line, he possesses great dribbling ability. He doesn't need too much space to shoot and is his aerial ability is extremely good for someone who is only 5'8. He is not afraid of the spotlight but more relishes the opportunity to show what he can do. As shown against Jordan, he stepped up and took the game winning penalty in the 88th minute.

He reminds me of a young Manchester United Cristiano Ronaldo in the way that his team looks to him the inspiration and continues to feed him the ball. Not to mention his free kicks or the way that he plays. To truly get the best out of him, he needs to know that he has the managers trust as well as his teammates and let him drift around and influence the game.

However as he still is young I would say that he needs to work on his tracking back skills as he sometimes tracks back and then passes on his defender. He also needs to put on 10-25 more pounds and then he will have more ability to hold up the ball.
